Koi are one of my favorite animals to paint.
Here is a new abstract of three koi,
a KOI PARTY,
on a background of rippling waters
created with glazes and drip technique.
Impressionistic brush strokes and
application of oil paints are applied
to create the sparkle on the water surface.
Swirls of water sometime immerse the fish as they play.
This is an original oil painting on gallery wrap canvas.
Like originals by M Baldwin have recently sold for $2850.
